Free Machine Embroidery
Time: 3.5hrs
Ever wanted to try free machine embroidery?
This afternoon class explains how to drop the feed dogs on your machine and then work within a frame to create your own designs. We will also look at working with an embroidery foot.
Free machine embroidery can be used to embellish the garments and accessories that you make and is great fun to do.
Material Costs: Threads & fabric provided but feel free to bring materials of your own if you wish.
Recommended Abilities: Suitable for sewers of all abilities.

If you are a beginner or just want improve your dressmaking skills then this is a good class for you.
I will take you through general dressmaking & sewing techniques helping you work out any of those tricky bits in your pattern. Zips, collars, setting in sleeves, I will tailor the course to each person’s individual needs & aim to give a good finish to your garment.

This class is for absolute beginners to dressmaking and sewing. You will discover how to use the sewing machine, make seams and understand pattern instructions.
